The Work
The company had been set up 6 years prior and was doing pretty well in terms of monthly revenue. However, the business was based on three key clients only. This, of course, meant it was liable to a drastic decline of 30% in revenues should one client relationship fall by the wayside in the future.
In addition, the company was not clearly positioned within the marketplace and could not differentiate easily against the competition. Every new prospect ended up in a price war with other providers leaving only slim profit margins.
Further, the business owner had a dream to grow from an office co-op environment into their own company offices with more staff members.
The Result
Within 24 months of our working relationship, we gave the company a whole new market positioning make-over. They are now recognized as leaders in their chosen niches, no longer negotiating against the competition but simply winning the business as experts in their field.
The business has tripled its revenues, taken on 4 additional members of staff and has moved into their own office in the heart of downtown Vancouver.
A clear direction has laid the foundation for a very focused future. The exit strategy is defined, core values derived and placed at the heart of the business. Every staff member, every client and every growth effort follows a silver lining of understanding and integrity.
