Darci had invited 400 of the top executives and senior management team, in the corporation she worked for, to attend a training session and was expecting a low turn out. LOVE – The greatest reward for being an entrepreneur is the flexibility and freedom to travel and combine this with earning money whilst seeing the world. She loves to help people and see the light go on in their eyes when they ‘get it’ and they start to understand what they didn’t know that they didn’t know. Plus, being able to quantifiably bringing value in terms of real dollar savings is what makes her work so worthwhile.
HATE – On the downside of travel for work, she is always ‘on’ and has never taken a proper break away ever since inception of the business. Though she gets to travel she hasn’t truly been able to ever really switch off from work.
Who or what has been most enabling to your business and why?
Her husband, Terry Osti. He is a top realtor in Vancouver with RE/MAX and really understands what is required to run your own business. They do travel together and make the most of the flexibility that way. Also they really help to enable each other and complement each other with their skill sets. This is so HUGE to her and she simply can’t say enough about him!
